This Thanksgiving season, let’s come together to make sure every family in our community has a reason to be thankful. Long County High School is hosting a Thanksgiving Food Drive to benefit the Long County Manna House, and we need your help!

Bring in nonperishable food items like canned vegetables, stuffing mix, gravy, and boxed desserts. Every donation—big or small—makes a ripple of kindness that can make someone’s holiday brighter. 🌊💛

Friday, our pre-K students enjoyed a wonderful day of Halloween activities and festivities. They showcased their creativity by decorating cupcakes and cookies, then joined our Blue Tide family for a schoolwide trick-or-treat through the LCHS hallways. Students also had the exciting opportunity to explore a “spooky lab” experience created by Mr. Walden and his students. The event was filled with fun, laughter, and school spirit as we celebrated the season together.

We are grateful to everyone who helped make this day a success for our students!

Our Pre-K students had an amazing visit from Ms. Shelby Dyal, Long County’s 4-H Agent! The kids learned all about the life cycle of a pumpkin and enjoyed a sweet treat at the end.

Next week is Red Ribbon Week! There are some fun ways our students can enjoy a little “dress up” while we promote making healthy choices.

Please remember that the LCHS dress code must be followed. Shorts/skirts/dresses must be no shorter than four inches above the knee, and holes in pants must be no higher than fingertip length. No masks, face paint, or scary costumes on Friday.
