All students enrolled in Work-Based Learning (WBL) are required to attend the WBL Orientation during Open House on Wednesday, August 6. A parent or guardian MUST attend with the student.
During the orientation, you will:
✅ Receive your WBL Student Handbook
✅ Complete and receive all required forms
✅ Learn about program expectations, requirements, and important deadlines
There will be four orientation sessions offered throughout Open House. Students and their parent/guardian only need to attend ONE session.
Interested in WBL?
If you are considering enrolling in Work-Based Learning and would like to learn more about the program, you are welcome to attend one of the orientation sessions as well.

The form is in the Senior Google Classroom.
⛪ The Baccalaureate Service is an event hosted by the local ministers for the graduating class. It is ultimately a church service. The participating graduates will march in wearing their caps and gowns. There will be hymns and a sermon/message, and each graduate will be called to the stage to receive a Bible. 📖
💵 Life Starter Grants in the amount of $300 each will be given out during this event. Seniors will be given raffle tickets at the beginning of the service and tickets will be drawn at the end of the service.
This is an optional activity. If you plan to attend, you must complete the form below by Friday, May 14 at 3 p.m. ⏰
📅 Service: Sunday, May 17 at 5 p.m.
📍 Location: LCHS Cafeteria
👔 Dress: Cap and Gown in Graduate Dress Code
🎓 Graduates should report to the LCHS Media Center by 4:30 in their caps and gowns!

Catching up on some well-deserved celebrations!
Last Tuesday, we proudly recognized 7 seniors who participated in the statewide Georgia Future Educators Signing Day. We are excited to celebrate these students as they take the next steps toward careers in education. A special congratulations to Kristopher Harris for receiving the Teach in the Peach Scholarship!
