The Georgia Department of Education’s Assessment and Accountability Division works hard to develop reliable tests for each grade level to ensure that students are making progress on the state mandated curriculum. Furthermore, federal law requires that all schools and districts report all student performance data. Reports are generated by the state each year allowing schools, parents, and community members to analyze the data so they can then work together to improve education for all students.
