Mr. Hattaway is the Principal at LCHS. He previously served as the Assistant Principal of LCHS. He has taught agricultural education and served as the FFA Advisor for the Pierce County School system for 15 years. He has a Bachelor’s degree from the University of Georgia, a Master’s degree in Educational Leadership and an Educational Specialist degree in Educational Leadership from Valdosta State University. He is married and he has two daughters.
Some of Mr. Hattaway’s accomplishments: 100% FFA Membership 1998-2007, 7th Place Finish in the National Forestry CDE (Career Development Event) 1994, State Forestry Champions 1994, 2nd Place Team at 2006 Southern Region Welding CDE, 1st Place Team at 2007 Southern Region Welding CDE, 1st and 4th place Welders in the State Weld Off 2007, Pierce County High School Teacher of the Year 2006-2007.






Mr. Epps was recently named the Assistant Principal at Long County High School for the 2010-2011 school term. Mr. Epps previously served as the Weight Training/Driver’s Education teacher at Brantley County High School. Mr. Epps also has experience coaching football, baseball, wrestling, track, and golf. Mr. Epps has coached two state champion wrestlers and a state champion in track. He was named Region 3AAAA Assistant Football Coach of the Year at Ware County High School, and was nominated as teacher of the month at Brantley County High School. Mr. Epps also has experience as a Youth Pastor and a Day-Care director. Mr. Epps has a Bachelor’s degree from Valdosta State University (where he also played undergraduate football and served as President of the Fellowship of Christian Athletes), a Master’s degree in Education from Cambridge College, and an Educational Specialist degree in Educational Leadership from Cambridge College. Mr. Epps is married.
